Palazzo Salis 

Just under 30 km from the residence Piazzihouse and located in Piazzetta Salis in Tirano, Palazzo Sertoli Salis is one of the most beautiful buildings in Valtellina. It was built around the middle of the 17th century when the Salis family settled in Tirano. The entrance portal leads to a large Italian-style garden, considered one of the most beautiful in Lombardy. Today the visitor can admire a circuit of 10 rooms frescoed and furnished with recently restored period objects, including the magnificent and very famous "Saloncello".

The visit also includes a view of the baroque family church, one of the first churches dedicated to Saint Charles Borromeo.  

The location also, thanks to the refined and charming atmosphere, is the ideal place to host refreshments and elegant receptions. It is also equipped with ideal rooms to host meetings and small conventions at the highest level.

• TOUR & TYPICAL LUNCH
Visit of Palazzo Salis + typical Valtellina lunch (in a selected restaurant a few minutes walk from the palace).

• WINE TASTING PACKAGE FOR GROUPS

The package, bookable for groups from 20 to 50 people, combines a guided tour of the Palace and the Museum with a tasting of selected wines served in a charming setting.

At the end of the guided tour through the rooms decorated with frescoes of the 17th century and set up with valuable historical objects and documents, we continue in the historic cellars and finally in the room for the tasting of 3 wines of the heroic Valtellina viticulture: Rhaetian Terraces of Sondrio / White IGT, Rosso di Valtellina / DOC and Valtellina Superiore / DOCG

You can choose from 4 different options and will be accompanied by some samples of local specialties such as bresaola, salami, local cheeses, as well as water and rye bread.

• TYPICAL LUNCH PACKAGE FOR GROUPS

The "Typical lunch package for groups" is available for groups with a minimum of 20, up to maximum of 50 people. Combines a visit to the Palace and the Museum with a typical culinary experience of the Valley, directly in a dedicated historical room inside the Palace.

At the end of the 50-minute guided tour through the rooms richly decorated with 17th century frescoes and set up with precious objects and documents dating back 5 centuries, visitors will be welcomed and delighted by a typical quality menu, served in a fascinating historical setting.

Bresaola (cured beef) / dop and various cold cuts, tasting of typical cheeses, pizzocheri, rye bread and two local wines from the heroic Valtellina terraces.

On request it is also possible to visit the historic cellars!
